Взяли билеты до Бари, зарезервировать машину и полетели. Мы знали только то, что по итогу за дни пребывания в Италии, должны увидеть Позитано, это была цель нашей поездки. Почему мы выбрали лететь в Бари, спросите вы. Потому что путешествуя в прошлом году на мотоцикле, именно недалеко от Бари, в Полиньяно-а-Маре, мне сделали предложение. Это был очень романтичный момент. Я захотела туда вернуться ещё раз, а также посмотреть окрестности этого региона. Апулия также славится красивой местностью. Первой остановкой по прибытию в Бари было именно Полиньяно-а-Маре. Далее, читая много отзывов в интернете о достопримечательностях Апулии, поехали в сторону городка, название которого –Альберобелло. Это маленький итальянский городок в провинции Бари. Это место получило известность благодаря уникальной городской постройке – Трулло, каменным домикам с конусообразной крышей. Подобные строения не встречаются больше нигде в мире и поэтому за свою уникальность были включены в 1996 году в список культурного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Городок можно посмотреть буквально за часа 2. Поэтому мы решили не терять время и двигаться дальше. Чтобы Не уставать в дороге, мы остановились в Метапонто – это курортный город, в котором по всей видимости отдыхают только итальянцы, туристов практически я не видела. Далее наша цель была доехать до Салерно – это отправная точка на Амальфитанское побережье. От Салерно до Позитано на машине ехать около 2ух часов. Но весь этот путь вам будут встречаться красивые города, в которых захочется остановиться и погулять. Особенно советую вам уделить отдельный день Равелло. Это город в горах. Там вам откроются очаровательные виды на всё побережье. В Равелло вы сможете посетить одни из красивейших вилл. Нам удалось увидеть только одну – это Вилла Руфоло. Есть ещё Вилла Чимбрионе, которую я обязательно хочу посетить в следующий раз. Далее мы двигались в сторону Позитано, проезжали мимо Fiordo di Furore. Когда я увидела фотографии фьорда в одном из отзывов, поняла, что не успокоюсь, пока там не побываю. Бухта очень симпатичная и популярная среди местных жителей, как место для плавания. Народу было достаточно много. Скорее всего, нужно было приезжать туда рано утром или ближе к вечеру, чтобы самим спокойно покупаться и полюбоваться красивым видом. Долго мы там не задерживались, решили ехать купаться на пляж в Позитано. Сразу скажу, что с парковкой в каждом из выше перечисленных городов было очень сложно. Улицы узкие, а парковка предназначена в основном для жителей города. Также учтите такую информацию: каждая цветная линия, обозначающая парковочные места, трактуется по разному. Жёлтая линия - парковка только для жителей города, Синяя линяя - платная парковка, Белую линию редко встретишь, она обозначает бесплатную парковку. В Позитано мы смогли оставить машину далеко от пляжа. Пришлось спускаться вниз, а потом долго подниматься вверх. В июле очень много туристов, пляж и сам город были практически забиты людьми. На самом пляже лежаки мы не стали брать, просто пошли искупались. Далее мы поехали в Помпеи, где провели 2 спокойных дня перед отлётом обратно в Ригу. Нас очень заинтересовали древние Помпеи, и мы решили сходить и посмотреть на историю. Но, к сожалению, город в разрушенном состоянии. Из-за сильного землетрясения в 79 году н.э. перед извержением вулкана Везувий город был практически разрушен. Но есть ещё один город, который также был уничтожен после извержения вулкана, но его не затронуло землетрясение и он сохранился намного лучше. Геркуланум наряду с Помпеями внесён в список Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Если вы захотите увидеть эти древние города, то я вам советую лучше посетить Геркуланум. Путешествие в целом очень понравилось, советую выбирать это направление Рига-Бари с Wizz Air. Мы увидели разную Италию и это производит неизгладимое впечатление.
I had a dream to see Amalfi Сoast not only on the pictures, but also to enjoy this beauty with my own eyes. After a while, I have decided that this dream should be made real, so we booked a flight to Bari, rented a car and took off!
We only knew that during those days in Italy we must visit Positano. That was the goal of our trip. Why did we choose to go to Bari, you may ask. Because last time when we were traveling near Bari in the town of Polignano a Mare I got engaged and it was a very romantic moment. I wanted to go back there once again and to see the landscapes of the region as well.
Apulia is also very well-known for its beautiful countryside. Our first stop upon arrival to Barry was Polignano a Mare. Next, after reading a lot of reviews about the sights of Apulia on the Internet, we decided to go to Alberobello. It is a small Italian town in the province of Bari. The place is very famous for its unique urban building style named Trulo, stone houses with a cone-shaped roof. Such type of buildings are not found anywhere else in the world and therefore for their uniqueness were included in the 1996 list of UNESCO's cultural heritage. The whole city can be scouted within two hours, so we decided not to lose any time and move on. In order not to get tired on the road, we stopped at Metaponto, this is a resort city, which apparently is a destination only for Italians, I practically did not see any foreign tourists. Further, our goal was to reach the city of Salerno, this is the starting point for the Amalfi Coast. Travel time by car from Salerno to Positano is about 2 hours, but along the whole route, you will see a lot of beautiful small towns and you will want to stop and take a walk. I advise you to spend one whole day in Ravello. You can visit one of the most beautiful villas. We managed to see only one - Villa Rufolo. There is also Villa Chimbrion, which I definitely want to visit next time. We moved further towards Positano passing by Fiordo di Furore. I saw pictures of the fjord in one of the reviews and realized that I would not rest until I visited it. The bay is very nice and popular among the locals who want to go swimming, however, it was pretty crowded in there. Most probably we had to come here early in the morning or closer towards the evening, in order to swim in peace by ourselves and admire the beautiful view. We did not stay there for long and decided to go swimming on the beach in Positano. I have to say right away that parking in each of the above-listed cities was a very difficult task.
The streets are quite narrow and the parking is mainly reserved for residents of the city. Also, consider that each color line designating parking spaces has different meanings. The yellow line - parking only for city residents, the blue line - paid parking, the white line means that the parking there is free, but you will rarely see that last one.
In Positano we were only able to leave the car far from the beach, so we had to go down and then walk up for a long time. There are a lot of tourists here in July, both the beach and the city itself were very crowded. We decided not to take loungers on the beach and just went for a short swim there.
Lastly, we went to Pompeii, where we spent two quiet days before our flight back to Riga. We were very interested in the ancient Pompeii and decided to go and see the history by ourselves. Unfortunately, the city was virtually destroyed by a very heavy earthquake in 79 AD before the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius. But there is another city that was also destroyed after the eruption of the volcano, but it was not affected by earthquakes and, thus, it is much better preserved. Herculaneum, along with Pompeii, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you want to see these ancient cities, then I advise you to visit Herculaneum better.
I liked the whole trip, I advise you to choose this direction: Riga-Bari with Wizz Air. We saw diverse Italy and it makes an incredibly strong impression.
